I was born and raised in the fog-laced mountain city of Baguio in the northern region of the Philippines. I now call New Zealand’s capital city — windy Wellington — my home.
I’m a software developer by training and a writer by passion, leaving the tech world to pursue my love of writing and turn it into a full-time venture. I mainly write about tech and its intersections with science, society, and the environment, but I also cover architecture and engineering, food and drink, and travel. I’ve crafted some solutions journalism pieces as well.
When I’m not writing, I can be found reading a good book and savoring chocolate in all its forms.
